The Prospectus Story

Thanks for checking out our web-site. My name is Shaun, the managing partner at Prospectus, and I am passionate about building great web-sites and helping people with on-line marketing. If you have an idea, product or an old web-site, I will build a demo web-site for no up-front money. If you like it (or believe that I have demonstrated I want to EARN your business), we will make a deal that works for both of us. If not, you will owe absolutely nothing!

All sites are built with WordPress today’s most popular web platform; popular because it is easy for the end user to add their own stories, photos, videos and testimonials. Once built, we will take six months (or so) and teach you how to maintain the site yourself. In the end you can get rid of web-geeks forever. However, if you get stuck, have a problem or want a major overhaul, help is always available.

Why trust your web-site to Prospectus?

A life of creativity and marketing bring a unique perspective.

During my college years I worked in the marketing department of a public company. That early experience included managing an in-house advertising agency that developed specialized marketing campaigns for many well-known consumer brands. It was great experience; taking place long before the computer/web revolution took hold of our society. Print media dominated the marketing focus and developing finely-honed brochures became a second nature. Successful campaigns and hard work propelled me into corporate finance and eventually, to President and then CEO.

Climbing the corporate ladder push me out of the creative work and eventually, corporate life was in my rear view mirror. After teaching myself AutoCad (computer aided design), the world of real estate planning (designing communities) renewed the creative fulfillment. Knowing the technical details and myriad of rules for each agency, combined with a passion to protect the environment offered superb outlet for ‘creative design.’

Fast-forward to 2008 and the pending real estate crash; obviously time for a new gig. During the years, I had developed of several web-sites with paid consultants. Despite explicit plans and detailed instructions, they seldom resulted in what was really wanted. Seeing a need, I took some private classes with a WordPress master. It was an eye opening experience and started a period of intense learning, that continues with each day. He then opened the world of Search Engine Optimization (SEO for short). We have become close friends and collaborate on several sites each year.

Today, every day is filled with the exuberance of learning new techniques and finding creative ways to help customers. Essentially, all the early work on print brochures and marketing campaigns provide the foundation of today’s on-line brochures. SEO is today’s on-line marketing.

Most of all, this ‘work’ is fun and developing your site should be a wonderful experience for both of us. The most rewarding moments are when someone sees their idea on-line for the first time.

If you have read this far, thanks for your patience. Hopefully it gives you an idea of our goals without boring you too much. I would love a chance to earn your business, it will cost you nothing to see a ‘demo site’ developed just for you. Take the years of marketing experience, innate creativity and passion and put it to work for you. We can both look forward to the joy you’ll experience when you see your site for the first time!

I’m impressed, I have to say. Seriously hardly ever do I discovered a weblog thats each informative and entertaining, and allow me to let you know, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is important; the issue is something that not a whole lot of individuals are speaking intelligently about. I’m truly pleased that I stumbled across this in my lookup for something relating to this.

    Hi there
Fabulous layouts above. Really like them.
One question you may be able to assist: why do your layouts operate in IE6 and mine don’t? For IE We have to place a no-wrap otherwise the content material will appear down the left side with the container only. I have tested the lists in IE but still having probs. Cheers
